For Quinn's first birthday a friend gifted these amazing cupcakes to us for the party...I jazzed up the display with a little personalization.

Kid's valentine treat

A little valentine treat for the girls. The butterfly is stamped, punched out and accented with glitter glue. I punched two very small holes for the string to tie it to the baggie. Butterflies, glitter and chocolate?! What little girl would pass this up?

Paper: Pretty in Pink
Ink: Rose Red

Announcing Baby!

As a gift to my first niece (and her momma) I made her baby announcements.

Since they had decided on a name ahead of time, we were able to prep ahead of time everything but the photo and the card with all the details at the bottom. The photos is the one from the hospital with some color editing by her daddy to make it fit perfectly with the announcement. It's hard to see in this picture but the background she's laying on has a pattern that even resembles the "b" medallion.

I love these and so wish I'd been able to pull something like together for my own girls!

Paper: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Blushing Bride
Early Espresso ink and ribbon
Punches: Scalloped circle, 3 smaller circle punches
Dry embossed polka dots

Wishing You Love

Valentine's day cards for the moms, dads and grandparents.

Came across some glitter paper I've been wanting to try out. I'm such a hoarder of "special" things. I need to loosen up and use more of this stuff, it's great!

I stamped the message on the white and then inked just heart and stamped it on the wrong side of the glitter paper to cut it out and pop it up on the white paper. The pink matting and the white are distressed on the edges.

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Rose Red, pink glitter paper
Ink: Rose Red
Blossom Bouquet Triple Punch

Orange you happy?...

...it's your birthday!

A gender neutral birthday card. I heat embossed white powder on orange paper for the small scallop square. The ribbon is cut in half and frayed along the side a bit. All that was attached with two dimensionals

The white is dry embossed with diamonds and set against a large scallop die attached with two silver brads.

This was a good example of somethings that were designed on the fly. The large scallop was cut too small which is why the left side is smooth. The blade on my paper cutter is getting dull and snags on my white paper so I tried to distress the edges to camouflage it. I went a bit too far and took out the bottom left corner! I think it adds some "ruggedness" if even accidentally.

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Ribbon: Pumpkin Pie
